Very solid take but, as Dr. Gay would tell you, you have to credit your source these days. Are you now cribbing from KJP's briefing book, or do you just quote whatever the Gaza Ministry of Health has to say on the topic?
100% agree, too much talent in So Cal not to field a solid team. Last I asked them - which was several years ago - the response I got was that there wasn't enough space on campus to give a women's team the resources they need to be competitive, and they didn't want to do anything off campus.
USC controls the coli. And it would be quite suitable for fielding a softball team in a historic arena. The biggest issue would be dealing with the locker rooms, tho given that it's been used as an olympic venue for both men's and women's sports, that may not be that big of an issue.
Quit being a bigot. All people can represent USC with pride. I don't know where you folks get your neanderthal attitudes.
Dear "Woke" Captain Obvious What is your point? USC also controls the Marine Station on Catalina Island........but like the Coli....BOTH ARE OFF USC'S CAMPUS. Will you write the $$ check to cover the cost ($60k/player scholarships, travel, field maintenance of a severe money loser like Women's Softball? In contrast.....last weekend...USC Women of Troy just "4-Peated" in Women's beach volleyball (where gorgeous tall beautiful women in bikinis utilized a previously un-used small piece of campus for their sand volleyball court between a parking structure and the fence/sidewalk on Figueroa Blvd.
That's not the question, Augie.
The real question is this: does anyone care whether SC has a softball team or not? I know I don't.
The cold truth? They don’t want to compete with UCLA.
USC is throwing ugly a bone. just like letting them tag along to the b1g when nobody wanted them.
