Good list. Don't blame ANYONE for choosing Oregon to come in 4th. Lanning has a lot to prove still....especially on defense of all places. Nix had an amazing year, but not only is there the question of can he keep playing at this high of a level, but more importantly can he stay healthy all season? All bets are off if we have to again dip into the 2nd string QB well.....
That said, the pieces are there to be as good as last season, if not better. I think the rest of my quacks are similarly cautiously optimistic.
So we shall see...and that's what makes college football so quacking great!!!
Few will remember but prior to the 1994 season, and coming off of a 5-6 season in 1993 with 3 wins against OOC cupcakes, Street & Smith's had Oregon pegged for 10th in the pac-10....still have that issue somewhere.
Funny that this is also considered to be the Year of the QB as it was in 1994. And yet a complete nobody QB named Danny O'Neil won the conference for Oregon (and even split MVP of the Rose Bowl with Ki-Jana Carter of Penn State).
It's not 1994, but I get it....gotta earn your keep.
