He had some pretty decent defenses at Wazzu. In 2017, he held us to 27 points when we were ranked #5, #18 Stanford to 21 and Oregon (unranked but still at Eugene) to 10. His worst defense at OU was 27 PPG which is still a vast improvement over what we have had over the last 2 years. What happened to him?
Point taken, but SC could not have gone 13-1 last year in that scenario. They would have been 12-1 coming out of the CCG, and a lock for the playoffs. So they could have gone 12-2 (losing in the semis), 13-2 (losing in the finals), or 14-1 (winning it all).
