Good stuff, Saw. This former Mario-lover now loves that he's someone else's problem these days.
And I thought the below was an interesting comparison...
What's comical is those that use Oregon as a stepping stone don't really end up in good places afterwards....lol. This includes Chip, Taggart, Cristobal, not to mention numerous OCs and DCs.
Lanning gets this and appears locked in for the long-haul.
Basically correct. Should have run time off the clock and then punted with maybe 11 seconds left rather than run the ball. Oregon's RB fumbles the ball, and Stanford ties the game with no time left and wins in OT.
Great recruiter. Horrible game-day coach. Figured back then he would learn in time.
As bad as that decision was how do you let the Tech reciever beat your defense. Last play of the game you do not let a player get behind you. Their were 4 Miami players all beaten by the Tech reciever.

Read where He had the same thing happen when he was at Oregon when playing against Stanford.
Up 3 at midfield and Oregon couged it. Stanford ties it up and wins it in OT.
