The only way a one loss PAC team gets in is if TCU or Clemson lose. Both losing would be much better. I think a one loss PAC champ will get in over a one loss non- champ Michigan or Ohio St and a one- loss SEC non/ champ. Unless the pac champ is Oregon and the one loss sec non champ is Georgia.
Choas is always around the corner, but my bet right now is:
1) SEC champ
2) OSU/ UM Big ten Champ
3) Undefeated Clemson
4) one loss PAC Champ if SC/ UCLA. Ducks are in if UG goes Undefeated.
i think TCU loses a game somewhere and will be ranked behind one loss PAC champ. If TCU goes undefeated they get #4 spot.
it’s still possible a one loss pac champ is left out even if Clemson and TCU lose. But I doubt it. The PAC has 3 teams in the top 12
I’ll say it again - Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan.
No way a pac team gets in. For the pac to get a qualifier, the following will ALL have to happen:
Bama loses twice
UGA-Tenn loser loses a 2nd game
Clemson loses badly to ND or loses close twice.
OSU or Michigan loses twice, or they both lose once.
TCU loses. their best chance at a loss is @Texas this weekend
Oregon wins out
You haven’t figured out their machine yet, have you?
Perfect year for 3 SEC teams and Ohio St
Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan.
1 SEC champ. always ranked number one no matter what happens.
2 BIG Champ , ohio st or Michigan.
3 one loss Alabama or one loss Georgia whoever loses SEC championship.
4 in the following order. Clemson, TCU , if either undefeated. Tennessee, if tennessee loses to georgia on the road close loss. one loss Ohio state or one loss Michigan. pac 12champ Oregon.
Watch the SEC put in 3 one loss teams over a one loss pac 12 champ.
it's fixed. Has been from the start. sc
A one loss Big 10 team or even a one loss SEC team will get in before a PAC Champion with one loss...if you think differently you are nuts IMHO...and if Oregon wins the PAC all anyone has to do is remind everyone of how Oregon lost that one game....it wasn't competitive...and you have UGA, Tennessee, and Alabama with Ol Miss sitting undefeated or at one loss....
Heck I would take a two loss SEC team over Oregon simply based upon how they looked in that SEC opponents game...the PAC is not a competitive league with the big boys..Big 10 or SEC
