That is the prevailing opinion, that he will get hurt. I , on the other hand, being a contrarian, ( a man who thinks on his own, follow the masses, you follow the asses) believe Slovis will show us his improvement this year

@BigBallss I wouldn't call that the contrarian view. I'd just call it the rah rah view. Which is what you put on full display 365 days a year. There's no doubt Slovis is fragile. He's had concussions his entire career, and now has a bum shoulder. Anyone can look great throwing jump balls to NFL talent and the worst defenses in D1.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the Jaxon Dart era. We might have another Darnold in the wings. And he hasn't been exposed to this shitty coaching staff yet so it should be fun
@Masked Man and a real offensive coordinator and the team had a leader at head coach along with a team identity. Also and I hate to
piss in people’s Cheerios Slovis isn’t that good. He isn’t a leader. He either has an injured shoulder OR has one of the worst arms in USC QB history. He was blessed with 4 WR’s Frosh year and 3 his Sophomore year that are on NFL rosters OR will be. this year he has 1 stud and 2 guys who could get there. It makes it impossible for teams to dbl so he just has to pick the best match up and throw it up. The issue with Slovis is that he only reads the best match up like 30% of the time and half of those times he delivers a poor throw. his arm strength or lack there of is why he was a 3 star prospect. It will be interesting to see the regression in him. Under Helton USC QB’s have only regressed, same could be said about the OL, RB, CB, and LB
Gonna be tough to be accurate with that OL this year. He'll be lucky to make it to Oct

slovis is going to elevate his game this year. I was just watching some tape of Slovis. Extraordinary accur@cy.
Joe Burrow had an Offensive Line.....and a running game.
