Keeping in mind Cohen recently said we must be patient.
Why is it taking so long? The only thing I can think of is it’s someone that is currently employed and still playing.
So….

Georgia
Co-DC Glenn Schuman
Co-DC Will Muschamp
First off, never realized there are so many co-DCs. lol
So out of that group the only ones that make sense are:
-One of the two from UW, as she hired them.
- Muschamp from Georgia might want his own Defense, as Schumann and Smart are the obvious playcallers.
- Kwiatkowski from Texas, because he worked under her.
From there, Kwiatkowski is the best option, and frankly makes the most sense.
He’s a west coast guy, played and coached at Boise and UW.
Has ties to Cohen
And if a homerun hire is what she wants, this is about as good as it gets.
Texas has the best DL in all of CFB.
Texas is near the top in all but one major Defensive category:
Scoring 12th 17.3ppg
Rushing 5th 85ypg
Passing 95th 250ypg
Total 27th 325ypg
Scoring and rushing are perfect for B10. Total is more than acceptable. Passing is an issue, but no one has great passing D numbers in the B12. UCF leads the conference, and are ranked 35th nationally.
Kwiatkowski would be a huge get, if this is the thought process.
After that, it’s either someone out of left field or a dud. lol
Could it be that Riley is looking to bolt?
Wolf said Riley talked with the Bears when when Riley was 'sick.'
Good list but you forgot Jeff Choate, who is a co-DC with Pete K at Texas.
is Manny Diaz chopped liver?
Schuman's name coming up a lot in the last 24 hours.
Why would coach K want to leave Texas to do a complete rebuild at a place with less nil ? sc
Nobody wants to work for Riley. They know they are gonna have to deal with the noncontact practices and they would be cutting their own throats taking the usc dc job.
Riley has to go. You guys can ignore this all you want, but it's just a matter of time. USC is gonna pay all that money one way or the other. The quesiton is "how quick to they want to start doing their jobs properly and fix the situation?"
