That’s why you use lower round picks to grab a qb. Every year. All you need is to be right once every decade. And once you’re right you can ease off on the lower round qb picks for 4-5 years

at this point, I will agree with you. Going to Atlanta is not good for him, tho he will sit for a year, maybe 2. If Atlanta can improve elsewhere, this might work, but those are long odds.

He really needed to fall into the 20s, but at least he's gonna get paid.

How long did Aaron Rodgers or Steve Young wait to get their shots? Rodgers sat for three years and Young 7 years.....so what does age have to do with it? Penix passed every medical he had so he is starting in the same place as every other QB in the draft from a medical standpoint. He ran the fastest of any QB drafted in the first round, jumped higher than any QB in the first round has the best hands of any QB int he first round and can accurately pass better than any QB in the first round.....Penix was a steal .....and Atlanta has great receivers and a pretty good offensive line...
