Do fans talk or yell during games? UCLA fans don't talk. They sit down and watch the game like they are ina movie theater.
Saturday night, in my area there was a drunken Carolina fan mocking California and a group of young girls behind me making game-related comments once in awhile. Everyone else was completely silent.
At one point the Carolina fan yelled for UCLA to "put in number 3." After Moore's td pass, I yelled back, "You wanted number 3!" The UCLA fans seemed to disapprove of this in innocent trash talk. I think I'm more suited to the SEC like Bama but maybe all fans are basically pretty quiet.
USC fans are very vocal. And the old crowd is hilarious as you hear them yelling random names. Some of whom don't even play there anymore or haven't for years.
They really make the people here look like geniuses. And it's hard to listen to.
"Come on. Step it up marcus". ???? "Eh. I mean. Reggie" ???? Keep guess old man. We've moved from 1981 to 2005. Next one you're bound to be in the right decade.
Or this brilliant insight. USC on 3rd and 4 runs a draw for 2 yards. Punting time. Fan. Or his wife wails "what kind of idiot coach call is that? We needed FOUR yards not two!!" Yes ma'am next time you tell those boys they need four yards and not to stop at 2 and it'll be all right
Thsts the alumni side. On the student side the young guy is telling his gf "beer me" and she pulls a flask out her hoo ha
Aging isn't always fun
Yup attended a couple seasons of UCLA football back when Donahue was there and it was quiet as a mouse most of the games...on the other hand here are rapid fans...

The Autzen atmosphere isn't for me anymore. It's the constant standing of people. The stupid emcee they now have. The stupid announcer , after every play telling me it's 2nd and 5 . No sheet, idiot
It's for the 18-30 crowd.
I need row 1 with ear plugs.
I've been to the Duck: Bruin games at the RB a few times and loved it. No smack talking. Bruin fans sitting on their hands. No emcees. No 2000 sq foot scoreboard you can see from the moon . The negative is the cramped seats and rows.
