You need QBs who can run. Ewers cant run. Neither can Manning coming in.

I posted last week that Ewers looks hurt to me. This is not the same guy who played vs Bama. He can’t throw deep at all. When he tried deep sideline passes his throws ended up 5 yards out of bounds. Nine overthrown passes yesterday.

If he’s not hurt, I would have to say he’s another 5-star QB bust. Arch Manning might have to start as a true freshman.

I still say he’s hurt. if this is the real Ewers, he should have been a 3-star QB instead of the #1 QB in his class. Further proof that rankings are slightly more than a crapshoot. If he played like he did vs Bama, Texas wins easily on the road.

Well, for us Ducks 3* recruits : Herbert. Mariota ended up 5* s as players . 4* recruits. Travis Jonsen Waller, Burnmeister, Mahalek, Thompson, Butterfield, Ashford, Shough, Rodrigues. All ended up 2* Busts. Transferred or never played.

it is possible you are right and he is playing hurt. He did miss a few games and maybe they rushed him back. Although he doesn’t act hurt, but that could be because of a pregame injection to dull the pain.

Ewers had a HORRIBLE game. 19 of 49 is absolute horseshit. And 3 picks? The guy absolutely sucked ass through a straw.

Sark always looks like he's gonna shit his pants on the sidelines. It's difficult to watch.

Trent Dilfer won a super bowl. He was an average talent at best (at the NFL level). My point is you need at least a “very good” to great QB at every level to compete these days. The new offensive rules have changed the game.
