How many teams have won Super Bowls representing multiple cities? I can think of 3 And no. The ny giants don’t count. They were the ny giants all along. same with the 49ers. I’m talking like Houston oilers Tennessee titans type stuff. Again I can think of 3.
i can also think of 3 cities who have Super Bowls from two different teams. One city of that group didn’t involve team moves.
I’ll let people guess a little bit then I’ll chime in with my guesses and see if I’ve missed a few. Probably
I have some memory of local flavor, including pro titles(not just SB). The Rams came from Cleveland originally. Not sure if the Cleveland Rams won a title but the LA Rams won one pre-Super Bowl era(1951). The San Diego Chargers won an AFL title, so they can win a title in another city. The Raiders can do Super Bowl titles in three cities.
So, Los Angeles has two super bowls from different teams. Baltimore does too. And so does New York. All NY teams are still there. Oddly the AFL Jets won one before the long standing Giants.
The Rams have won in two cities. The Colts. And the Raiders.
Can you think of any other cities or teams that fit the above? Oh, did you know the Rams have been in 3 Cities? We know LA twice, and Anaheim doesn't count. Rams have been in 3 states actually.
Not that many teams have moved around that much so it's a pretty small list and maybe I got to the end of it. Not sure. Interesting that both Dallas and Houston in football crazy Texas have lost teams.
