Maybe having the worst OL in the NFL, multiple OC's as a rookie and a couple HC's in the same season might have an impact on a rookie QB that still passed for over 4000 yards...with that said the kid needs a good OC to utilize his talents and an OL that can give him some time in the pocket....even Mahones looked terrible under a rush in the Super Bowl...
Possible. But that OL wasn’t considered the worst in the NFL before CW13.
Mobile, elusive, scrambling QBs are gonna do their thing. Sometimes they run into Sacks that may not have happened. They absolutely sometimes hang onto ball to long and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
Talking just sacks without mentioning TDs or team scoring averages is an incomplete analysis.
For any player. That being said Chicago’s O was not great. With a lot of good pieces. For instance, Way more pieces than Sam had in NY. And a good D.
Caleb’s start was worrisome. Not complete of course but cause for concern
From the reports I saw they had major issues with the OL especially when they started going through LT's and Centers due to injuries. You might want to check that out. The LT's were down to a rookie low draft pick who I beleive was drafted as an IOL....like the third or fourth guy after injuries. Also don't overlook how many HC's and OC's he had his rookie season....
His sack per pressure was the worst of any QB by far in 2024 and possibly the worst for a starter since the stat has been kept.
Caleb Definitely looks for contact with other men on the field.

Hate on.
Imagine being on a 15-2 team and being 4th in the league in sacks. No wonder they are walking away
Now that was funny. sc
