pretty good quicks, break away speed at least vs texas hs compettiion.
no film of him catching passes or blooking. can shake tackles when he reamains at arms-length.
looks llike a kick returner to me. offensive line blocking will have to improve drastically or else the play will go nowhere. He does appear to make 1 cut and go, when his OL in HS appears to be a lot better than their competiton, so we'll see.
Oh don’t ask me. Perhaps he was shorter and lighter when his school put their state together last summer and maybe he grew. Kids do that. I grew an inch my senior year and an inch my frosh year of college.
My 13 year old grandson went from 5' a year ago to 5'9" now and still growing ....His Doctor says he should be between 6'2" and 6'4" when he's done....went from being one of the smallest kids on his Hockey team to now one of the bigger kids on his Hockey Team...
Yeah so him being listed at age 16 at 5’8 to 5’11 who knows. I doubt he’s 5’11.
But we are in March of his junior year of hs and if his hs listed his size that would have been just after his sophomore summer getting ready for his junior year.
So that’s a long time from then until his first game in college. Like 2-3 years. I bet you could add an inch or two and about 20 lbs. now if the school fished and he’s really 5’6 and 150 in hs? I’d guess the rb coach would know that and would recruit accordingly

I actually expected them to get the oak hills kids out of Hesperia. Probably could if they wanted. The Trojans are the huge prep team in that area
I think a football player that size qualifies as "small," not "smallish."
