WSU President gave an interview. Claims UA actually applied to Big 12 behind the PACs back, Big ten/ Fox got word of it , then proceeded to add UO and UW. Fox didn't want Apple getting into college football and streaming.
So when UW/ UO didn't show for the PAC/ Apple signing party , UA was already gone.
Apparently, the Big ten went with Foxes wishes, despite SC/ UCLA barking against adding Ducks.
WSU President mentions that if Stanford/ Cal go to ACC they are on their way to the Mtn West. Translation: They become Fresno St. OSU will follow and become Boise St.
If Furd/ Cal don't get into ACC. The 4 will look into expanding PAC with G5 schools.
Agreed. Osu baseball is a great program but could fall off a cliff, quickly.
All the journalists are handwringing about stanfords future (wsj, sports illustrated, espin etc) but few seem to care about the wsu and osu programs.
I have no idea why Stanford and California would take a deal with the ACC, assuming they even want to. Stanford can go independent for quite a while. California can do something else, anything else, I just don't see the ACC as being a fit.
Fuck the Beavers. Wazzu too.
Stanford still pushing for the Big...looking for a way in....and apparently there also seems to be some work being done to -"push" Notre Dame into the Big or possibly making FB join ACC...those are the rumors going around..
So white trash meth truckstop U is responsible for the latest iteration of the pacs demise. I love blaming furd for killing the original pac xii. What's your perspective?
