Win or lose, this has been a terrific season for UW.
2 years after Jimmy 'Crater' Lake and his 4-8 season, with wins over Cal in OT, late comback against Stanford and narrowly avoiding a loss against a winless UA team, who would have thought in 2 years UW would be the only team in Pac-12 history to go 12-0 and on a 19 game winning streak? Were all wins convincing victories? Of course not but there isn't a team that can ever claim that as everyone knows how hard it is to not lose a single game in a season.
Things are looking very bright moving forward. Recruits and their parents on their unofficial visits are recognizing the resources and culture at UW and more are wanting to learn more. Same with portal entries, but UW will never land those top HS players with their hand out, but they never landed those in the past anyway and as KDB said this past spring, they would not be a good 'fit' at UW anyway,
If UW loses tonight, we will still go to a top NYD bowl game against a top opponent and could finish the 2023 campaign with a history making 13 win season.
If UW wins tonight and gets into the playoffs, everyone will say we will get crushed by Georgia, Michigan or whomever.
That's okay too................
going undefeated regular season is rare. for any program. even when teams only played 10 games. congrats. sc
Yeah. Kalen D is the bomb!
We have had our issues and verbal jousts in the past, mandb, and doubtless those will continue deep into the B1G. But sort of happy you guys will rep the p12 one final time as the only undefeated team in the history of the p12 if Oregon doesn't win the CCG.
Good luck tonight, but not too much! Should be a great game!!!
All true. 👍
