Evidently, they demand to know how the UCLA exit will impact all students in the UC, based on equity-fairness. UCLA's first obligation is to all students, not just UCLA students. Aside from Cal, schools like Davis and others are impacted as UCAL willy-nilly casts aside its obligations and traditions. Gonna be pretty tough to do anything if the PAC disintergrates like it appears to be doing. Cal goes to the Big12, Stanford joins them, rest of the PAC scatters so would Newsome force UCLA to join ith eh Cal States for a minor conference...that would be dumb.
They can demand all they want. Who gives a shit?
Much ado about nothing. The rest of the UC system can suck ass.
