Remember when Branch was held out a few games

I used someone who was tied to USC RE (as a mentor) once, and the guy was a total clod. It was my fault though, I expected too much and should have just done it myself.

I've got that going right now. A commercial broker who's been doing this for 30 years as he reminds me every other sentence. And every time we deal with a new agent or city, he likes to drop a name and tell us if we ever need to we can drop that name. Like dropping the name of someone who worked in the economic development department in the city of Colton 30 years ago means crap to a guy who lives in Anaheim and commute to Colton to work at the city for the last one and a half years

This guy is a clod. And my sales manager who kind of dabbles in amateur real estate wants to kill him because he's doing more to make this happen than the agent who will pocket 6 figures on this deal

The ones who remind you how long they have been doing it are also telling you that they will be handling the deal as if it was during first year they were in the business. Not a lot of motivation to be on the cutting edge in that industry, moreso if they are the lead or have their name in the firm.
