didn't see the game, but they lost to Northwestern earlier today.
What exactly does Scott Frost have to do to get fired? he's 15 and 31. OUCH!!!
I know how Nebraska used to have 200 man rosters and found ways to get players, but my guess is, it's still fawking Nebraska and no one wants to live there. And it's not like there are a lot of deep pocket Cornhusker alums. It's endowment is less that 2 billion. yawn. Not much NIL options there.
Kind of sad to see what was once such a proud tradition die.
I remember when they stole a couple of d back top recruits out of the hood in SC's back yard back in the late nineties. Pissed me off at the time. Still kind of sad to see the program whither on the vine.
sc
35 million dollars for 15-31? That’s crazy. Nebby is actually getting Frost on the cheap at 5m per. They have to go all in on their next coach if they truly want to compete in the future. Personally, I think Neb is done.
Clay Helton-Frost is doomed. The pundits were giving him the benefit of the doubt fro narrow losses, like Helton got before. his onside kick f-up just cut his short remaining slack in half.
When the NCAA changed the rules for recruits traveling on private jets, it was the end of NU football. Recruits didnt see the area when they landed in Lincoln. Now they have to make that drive from KC.
Lincoln, NE = Manhattan, KS or Ames, IA
Also Nebby under Frost has lost more one score games during his tenure than any other D-1 school , 20 to be exact. ? What the hell is Florida State doing playing Duquesne. That is really demeaning.
I had nothing to do so I watched the whole game. Nebby was an 11 point favorite in Dublin, Ireland. Northwestern was clearly the better team ,controlled the line of scrimmage , ran for over 200 and passed for over 300. Bye bye Frost. He looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
