Note that Neuheisel told the story to Dan Patrick the other day of ASU doing the exact same thing to his UCLA team back in 2008 just before halftime, all to the Sun Devils' advantage.

Funny how it took a meaningful game vs tOSU to change the rule. Who wags the dog in the NCAA?

Speaking of "funny", I totally recognize the decades of so many wonderful Rose Bowl victories, national championships and heisman trophies, but what exactly has USC done in the past 15+ years besides egregiously underperform?

Oh, yes, that's' right, don't blame USC - simple rationale - it's the handful of schollies the big, bad NCAA took away from you almost 15 years ago. Got it. 🤣

I have friends who are Trojan fans outside of this board. They tell me it's not easy these days fighting on, so I get why you guys are so testy.

I'm wondering how that rule is going to be enforced. What if a team legitimately screws up and forgets how many guys they're sending in?

I do think that it's a form of cheating, in a way. But I got to admit, it's pretty clever.

Truth is many don't need any reason to have a low opinion of USC.....lol!

Honestly, how is it any different than a team taking a delay of game to give them selves more room for a coffin corner punt or a team kicking a field goal that wants a better angle by backing up five yards?

The idea that this move was somehow shady in any way is laughable.
