RIP UCLA coach Bill McGovern

Many Bruin Fans had their opinions on this guy, he did show improvement, but the DB's were hot garbage most of the year and he was stuck playing handball with dog crap. I will say one thing about Chip Kelly. He is a really good boss. He has consistently done things for his staff that show he is willing to go to bat for them, and has done some things that did not make sense for UCLA but did for his staff's well being. Keeping McGovern on contract was a noble thing to do, it likely contributed to him getting a level of care for his illness that might not have been available if he was not a current employee. RIP to the man, may his family find comfort in this difficult time.
