Never been a fan of one year rentals. Given this is year 2, I really don't see the need or the point. I think the goal is to build stability. Longevity. Long runway. I get that you need instant talent right off. Make a splash. Done. I get that you need D players to change the course of the D so maybe you offer 1-2 one year guys after last year's disaster. I don't get taking an OL with one year when you're heading into year 2.

I'd think you'd want to build a strong foundation to be there after Caleb leaves. That way every year you're only breaking in maybe a new QB or an OL or two. Not all at once.

Yeah, he is Not coming. Will likely take the year off to “rest his body “ and get ready for the nfl draft. Maybe more to the story but that’s what I read .
