1. He was never benched last year. He had a broken collarbone. That is why Cam was brought in. And didn’t do diddly.
2. He was never benched by Jets. He had a broken foot.
He played on turf. Happens a lot on covered concrete.
3. Manny Machado signed a $300M contact AFTER you bashed him.

A bust wouldnt be a starting QB for 4 straight years going into his 5th.
And yes he will be starting again next year.
Big plays on the ground don’t work too good for QB’s in the NFL with the exception of Fran Tarkenton way back. Sam likes to throw the ball to the other team and obviously will never be mistaken for a Troy Aikman but he’s a good journeyman. Next stop?
