You got that wrong.....looks like SDSU couldn't wait for the feet dragging by the PAC and went back to a sure thing. It also appears without access to Southern California the Duckies will take a hit along with the rest of the PAC...let me add Basketball...to the mix...big hit there as well...with UCLA and USC leaving the PAC drops a notch in overall BB ratings...sdsu would have likely filled some of that role with the recognition they have gotten tha last few years...don't kid yurself the PAC looks like it's leaders are as screwe up as they ever were on their ability to get the right things done....
True. But eventually SC will say why is Purdue getting the same as us? They bring nothing to the table. And your new road trips to "cool places" will wane after a few years. It will be: man. That road trip to Pedd St isnt worth it anymore. So far, such a pain. I'm staying home. Man, that road trip to Furd was so simple.
Now if the big ten adds Furd and Cal in 5 years. It solves a lot of the problems. I think they add those two plus ND and NC. Solid 20 team league. Done for 30 years.
The geographics don't make sense. I think after a few years the B1G will be looking to add a west coast pod and very likely pushed to do so by USC and UCLA.
Why would anyone with any real cache want to join the Pac-10 now that 11-time national champ USC has totally neutered the conference by escaping in the nick of time? Thank god.
Do they make the pac ten better? No. A SoCal presence I guess. But SD isn't LA. The league will get a media deal in August and look at expanding or not. I'd just stay at ten and see how it goes. What's the rush ?
The PAC will never be the same. Just like the Big 12 will never be the same. ACC is still strong.
He can't read, and always likes to brag about how he won't have to come here anymore once USC is actually playing in the Big Ten. The idiot calls that "freedom."
Haha. Wake me when the Ducks apply to the big 12. I can't wait for the field trip to Waco. Although I hear it's an improvement over South Central. The trip to Mexico City gonna be a long flight though. Not as bad as say LA to Pedd St. but bad.
Fuck 'em.
Good. It'll make it easier for Chip to grab one or two guys off their team for 2024.
Am I the only one not thrilled about the move to the BIG10?
Seems like an ouster of the PAC12 commish and restructuring would have been a better move imo. The geographics just don't make sense.

Is the big ten going to 10 conference games?
