Sanka takes another scalp!

He may not know jack shit about football, but he is the champion of free speech.

The battles between Cleats, August and lady Sanka were epic. Legendary board banter. The wit and original insults still make me laugh . So Augie ran off and took over his own board called pac 12 pigskin and then BIG something. Nytrojan started it , but literally went insane when the Covid hoax started and he became vaccine obsessed.

Well that board went belly up today after running off it’s best poster with great links.

I have no idea how much it costs to run a message board. When Java jr asked for money in the past , I always gave.

Free speech is hard to find these days but seems to be making a comeback. Hats off to Fake Lake for Always keeping this board open and free. sc

You have a bad habit of thinking your opinion and facts are the same thing.

A) That board was my idea, my brainchild. I brought NYT in to set it up because he’s an IT guy.

B) I didn’t run anyone off. I asked him to not litter the board with links, as it was pushing threads where members were having discussions to the second page. More than a handful of posters complained about it.

He didn’t like that, nor did he like several posters who questioned him.

So he left.

C) The board is still functioning, it’s going through a transition as another poster is taking it over.

I doubt this changes anything with you, but I wanted the rest of the board to know the actual truth.

Who was this best poster? How can a board go belly up? The old one we had was better kokkkng but as people may remember various bugs and viruses of the new age jacked it up. So we bought this version out of a box. Mostly worse but some better and the WW lives on. Kinda lol. It’s fairly cheap. Hosting probably costs $100 a year. Jr makes big money elsewhere and lost interest here. So I hired a guy named Steve. Not the one from Blue’s Clues. But this Steve handles our company website and this one together for about $200 a month. I think he assumes that he’ll have to put about two hours in per month and when he puts in more we get billed 100 or or 150 an hour.

Most of the cost is the business site. This one probably costs me $500? Maybe $1000 a year? I’ve wanted to resume ads but I mostly am on my phone now and I barely have room enough to type and read. Throwing an ad in there would really suck. Sooooo not yet.

August is here. So whatever board you refer to he must have left long ago. And news for you if you hadn’t noticed. on most subjects lately I’m agreeing with him more than you. Or maybe he’s agreeing w me more than you. Whatever it is you’ve continued your scorched earth fire everybody after one game that you don’t like philosophy. And he’s been more patient. Realizing you can’t just keep burning the baen down every time a cow takes a dump in it

Stopped posting WW around 2002, came by and read threads once in awhile. Went to another free board and hung out there. But it closed. When I came back to your WW around mid June, 2024 could not log in, had to register again, kept my original and same user name (Butkus51).

Old time & original posters should know me from back when. I used to post a lot... Cheers.

Hopefully, a comeback. It ain't there in academe; in Europe, even the home of the British (Scottish) Enlightenment; you can go to jail for unapproved expressions. Hell, even members of the Democratic establishment get sanctioned for speaking truth to bullshit (per men in women's sports). WW is the Samizdat of the electronic age.
