I like the guy. But I didn't understand the hire. He is not related in any way to Texas. He is not related in any way to Texas values. He doesn't have a record of success other than acting as a cookie cutter offensive coordinator for NFL Tech, aka Alabama's offense. I hoped I was wrong in the belief that this was an awful hire. Looks like I wasn't wrong.
