it was a 10-7 game. No offense. Pretty boring. Really shows the lack of sophistication in passing game at hs level and the massive difference between hs And even low level college.

Bodco was missing like half a dozen guys and how do you even judge a win with no qb. So I look forward to seeing them play if possible when everyone is healthy. I didn’t come away very impressed with Mater Dei and I wanted to be

I thought SJB would blow MD out unless Elijah Brown had a great game but I knew nothing about the injuries....MD must have simplified it's passing game since Bryce Young left because I thought it was pretty darn good at the HS level..maybe Young made it look more sophisticated then it was..

Dropped passes. Qb staring down receivers. Forcing balls. Missing reads. Ignoring wide open guys to force a ball into triple coverage. I’m sure if I watched hs fo it would have been very impressive. But the gap between what we see on Saturday and Friday is pretty vast

Oh and it was 7-7. Md got close and was stopped. kicked a fg w 5 min left. Maybe more. Bosco backup qb started throwing. Terrible idea. Punted. Mater Dei ran out clock basically. with about 40 seconds left and Bosco hoping for a 3rd down stop and hoping to get ball back in own end with maybe 30 seconds. they stack the line and the md back breaks through for a 50 yard garbage td.

ballgame. So it was 7-0 md for most of game. Bosco had a hard running drive in the 3rd to tie. Md responded w same and fg. And that was it.

i was surprised how fast the clock moved. They don’t shut it down for much. Really hard to do any hurry up. I wonder how long the quarters are. Probably 10-12 minutes.
