In the military industrial complex bowl. Or let your kids sign up to get their limbs blown off in some foreign land bowl.
Army has one three star player on their roster. all two and no stars.
HOw is this even possible? WEll we all know how GREAT every SEC teams are. It's why the THE SEC schedule is Sooooooooooooo tough.
Missery proved they were a bowl team by playing three directional schools all AT HOME of course and losing to boston college.
We all know the SEC is SOOOOOOOOO GREAT. ALL TEAMS ARE BOWL TEAMS BABY!!!!!! CACHING!!!!!!!!!!!! no team should ever have to travel all the way to dallas fort worth to play a football game. That's just not fair. Right Ole Hick ? It's the SEC !!!!! and they are just the best .
GO ARMY. sc
Army’s victory over Missouri was the first U S military victory since World War II . I don’t count the Iraq War. The Little Sisters if the Poor could have defeated Iraq. Our woke military continues to promote equity and diversity while culling the ranks of anyone who voted for or supported Donald J Trump
When you play in the toughest conference in CFB you get credit for it...the Big 10 is probably next best at least at the top...in other words the top Big 10 teams need to prep for one or two games per season...sometimes maybe three or four. The SEC usually has a couple givens maybe three in the SEC...and complain as you much the fact they play 8 conference games is smart wheres the idea of 9 conference games is stupid no matter how weak the competition is...and talka bout good loses I gues you forget about Ohio St this year or even Baylor and Oklahoma......when good teams lose to good teams those don't make the loser a bad team...
Yes… the good loss theory. Perfect phrase.
It has nothing to do with the WAC12….I’ve said for a long while this conference is the worst in Power5.
My stance is, the SEC is judged by diff standards. SEC gets credit for beating each other in conference, the other conferences get penalized.
The perception of tough has nothing to do with Bowl Invites...it happens tpo be tough because they are either in the BCS Championship game or winning it and more likely then not winning it is what happens...and you are correct about the SEC East being typically the weaker of the two divisions but the rest is garbage IMHO...with the Bowls today almost every conference has representatives...Big 10 has 8 teams...Big 12 has 7 teams, the ACC has 10 teams and even the weak ass mismanaged PAC has..6 teams....lastly every team in the SEC has to play a guantlet against rival opponents in the SEC ...the PAC is a cake walk for any team that has decent players and a good coach in comparison ...and I see a lot of OOC games scheduled in the PAC against those same kind of foes the SEC plays. Rice, Bowling Green, Alabama St, Eastern Washington, Montana St, Idaho, Portland St, North Dakota St, Northern Arizona, Eastern Michigan ( I'm sure there would be more except the PAC plays a 9 game schedule)...by the way what was the name of that inferior school the SEC plays that just kicked a BYU's ass...you know the same BYU that rolled through the PAC...the jealousy on this board about the SEC is hilarious...
The classic SEC grift:
three ranked teams in SEC…
22 Arkansas
22 Texas A&M
25 Kentucky
Arky 8-4
4-0 out of conference, 4-4 in conference
TAMU 8-4
4-0 out of conferenc, 4-4 in
conference
Kentucky 9-3
4-0 out of conference, 5-3 in
conference
Beat up lesser OOC, split in conference, go .500, get ranked, boost the top conference teams into th playoffs. Rinse. Repeat.
Outside of Georgia, the SEC East was garbage…yet 6 of the 7 teams are bowl eligible. Except UGA, all of them were .500 in conference.
The West isn’t much different. Bama and Ol Miss with good records, then 5 teams with .500 or worse records in conference.
But the perception is it’s tough because 12 of 14 are bowl eligible.
It’s the formula….stack up on shitty OOC, split with the rest.….go bowling. And the good teams get boosted in the polls because they play so many bowl eligible teams.
Missouri sucked and was one of the worst teams in the SEC..lost to almost everyone in the SEC..lets see...Tennessee lost by 62-24, Kentucky 31-24, Texas a&m 35-14, Gerorgia 43-6, Arkansas 34-17....who did they beat Vanderbilt 37-28, South Carolina 31-28 and Florida 24-23 OT.....all three of those teams were terrible this season... record in the SEC 3-5......ya that sure measures the SEC...geez you are a funny guy...
