Is there something I’m missing about J J McCarthy? What leads everyone to believe he is a can’t miss prospect? he hasn’t thrown one NFL pass yet.

Hilarious. After his poor performance vs Ram's, many said he just loss $150 mil. Not so fast, looks like Sammy is gonna be rich. A Big Shaka to Sam Darnold... Cheers.

On a bad team. Three year deal. Two guaranteed @ $35M a year. If a good team, prob $25M to allow some cap Space. The last two games cost him a lot of money. Sadly, and even unfairly.

a year. If people watched the last two games , it’s hard to throw passes while you are on your back.

We must be reading different sources. I’d heard Mc carthy would be the top pick this year so he has a ton of value. And while he is cheap. Sam is to them proven.

Based on my reading of the top qbs out there I think he can get 4 years &140-$160 milllion. And get $80 million of it guaranteed.

If I am him with how he got bounced around the league the previous 7 years I take anything over $100 million from the vikes. Knowing even if they keep me for 2 years I’ve will made at least $50mill. Likely. More

Stanford to tell them early if he is retiring or not. He is considering retirement. If he does play again it might be just one more year. If thats the case it could be a good landing place for Sam. Either way, Sam is going to be RICH. Can you really live better on $50 million a year than $30/40 million a year. Sam strikes me as a guy who would rather be happy then maximize every last dollar. He was a kid who skipped all the summer passing leagues so he could hang with his high school buddies during the summer. He really is level headed.
