So if your team went 4-8

Hired a new coach and he went 11-3, lost the Conf Champ game but your QB won the Heisman, would you consider that a great hire? How about if he beat your two main rivals?

How about is he opened up the next year 5-0?

So he's now 16-3 and has spent almost every week he's been hired ranked in the Top 10. Oh and he just won a road game against a team that had been ranked as high as 19 last weeek.

Did I mention that Heisman winner is the odds on favorite to become the only PAC, USC and QB to ever win it back to back?

Ducks are on the PAC network every week , of course no one has heard of him. Besides, I never said Bo was good. He can't run. Average arm. But he's better than that 5* bust Ty Thompson. I blame 247 sports for that. Ranking fools Gold.

I don't regret the hire. In fact, it seems that he was the only high profile coach who wanted the job.

He made SC relevant. He's had some nice wins. He got Caleb to SC. All cool stuff.

But he isn't going to get USC to the top. Sun Bowl this year and then next year will be just brutal. I can't wait to see the modified schedule for 2024. But for sure it's LSU, Wash, Ore, ucla, Notre dame and likely two of the following: Michigan, OSU and Penn St. New offensive line. New QB. Thin defense. Whoof.

Riley has a 10 year contract and it's guaranteed. He makes 10-11 million. USC is married to him like or not.

Grinch most likely got a 2-3 year contract and this is year 2. Coordinators never used to get more than a year and about 5 years ago that began changing. I think the most I have heard of is 2 years. But they wanted him and might have extended themselves to get him

USC won't be playing all those schools yearly. Let's think. They will play UO, UW and UCLA. ND. Every year. Big Ten will have to give them what. 5 more? I predict say, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Michigan. or Rutgers, Maryland, State Penn, Ohio State and Purdue. Or Indiana, Illinois, Northwestern, Michigan State and someone else. I mean those are not easy teams, and that's a lot of good teams. Someone is going to fall off. I would guess UCLA will have a hard time keeping up.
