Sits and allows OSU and UM to eliminate each other while they wait to move up. TEN plays Misery, Fake USC and Vandy. So they're done and will be invited to the playoff having been annihilated by Georgia yesterday.

Nice how SEC has this set up for themselves.

One loss pac champ will jump Tenn. Tenn plays no one last 3 games. SC, Ducks, Bruins will play 2 top 10 teams.

clemson losing and then dropping like an anchor was key. If TCU drops a game the big 12 is toast too.

Concur. But same with Bruins and Ducks. Ducks can lose any of their last 4 games. UW, Utah, OSU, SC or Bruins. it might just turn out everyone in PAC ends up with 2 losses.

Get off the drugs...Tennessee didn't get smashed like Oregon did. The SEC is a tougher conference then PAC...if the Vols drop below Oregon then someone is pulling a "Joe Biden"......

If Oregon wins out, my quacks will be rewarded for playing Georgia and BYU instead of Ball State, Pittsburgh, Akron (our E. Wash and their Tenn Martin games are a wash).

"Getting smashed vs Georgia" was ancient history in the world of the CFPs. If Oregon had scheduled Georgia State instead, ducks would probably be #3 in the nation right now instead of #6.

Committee ain't gonna dis Oregon for scheduling the toughest opponent you could have scheduled to start the 2022 season, losing badly, and then coming back and smearing everyone else off the face of the planet including a couple of top 10 teams.....lol. Nor are they gonna favor a non-conf champ team over one who won the conference vs. a likely top 10 team.

Not worried at all about Tennessee....TCU if they win out, they would be the most likely one to steal a berth from the p12 imo.

All true, but we still have Oregon to explain. Yes, it was a long time ago, coach's first game, etc., but they have SCOREBOARD.

thats Why college football sucks. schedules aren’t equal. Why does the SEC still play 8 conference games with 14 members? ever one else plays 9. Why can one school play 3 joke OOC games and others play 2 ranked teams like the Ducks did.

why is it when I look at the voters in the coaches poll. Ducks are ranked # 24 by one and Alabama ranked #1 by a coach?

the 12 team playoffs will help. But teams need to learn to play weak OOC schedules. A win vs Georgia State is better than a loss to Georgia.
