We converted 3rd and shorts. We run a REAL read option now. we had turnovers, we didn’t take timeouts because we were disorganized. Our head coach chewed ass because someone made a mistake. Our superior athletes showed it. No dumb penalties.

the best part of today? We didn’t have a bumpkin charging up and down the sideline looking lost. No more of that stupid T thing that loser did.

i am not expecting much this year because Helton had so badly handicapped usc football. Next year will be our year. Our DL and OL need work, we need a pass rush and better LB’s, and we still don’t have the type of RB that riley likes.

but we are incapable hands. Also we didnt blow a dbl digit lead. Helton blew an astonishing 17 dbl digit leads during his tenure. Think about that. It takes a special brand of awful to do that

I want to see more, but this had the feel of a pack of wolves or hyenas feeding. When things got crazy, they got crazier, more intense. And USC was the one causing that. Feeding on it,

I have a feeling when momentum happens this USC team will capitalize and sustain. Williams at QB is an absolute killer. I don't think teams are coming back on USC. I think USC will smell their weakness and feed on it.

They have so many dudes. Brown injury looks like he will be out 2-3 weeks to me. But they have so many guys. Williams ay QB. Two Williams at WR, Addison. I really liked Travis Dye, I didn't expect him to be so physical. Jones is also a horse. Washington is out there. Bryant hardly got any PT They just have so many dooooods.

Oh I am kind of writing off this season still too many players who spent time with Helton on the squad. Next week for instance I see us barely putting 24 on the board. Will we win, who know. But if we lose next week’s performance isn’t on Riley, he is stuck with the idiots that Helton gave him. under the old coach usc would have beaten rice the gone up 10-0 on Stanford only to lose 42-13 and look pathetic doing so. Basically play like Bowling Green today vs ucla.

USC is not losing to Stanford. The Farm may huddle. May slow the pace way down and try to play keepaway. First quarter today each team had the ball once. Was crazy. So Stanford might try that. and if they can hold this to a 4-5 possession game each, then yeah they can win. But you want to give USC offense the ball 8-9 times and do the same for Stanford and think Stanford will outscore them over a larger sample pool? I don't think so.

Todays game will help USC prepare for Stanford. Same coaches, same offense. I think USC will be challenged to score 40 because of possessions, but USC is going to score 40 on almost anyone else.
