1-2 in that run will be a good thing. This aint the old P12days, dude. Every road game over two/three time zones is a loss, until it’s not.

Michigan is still a better club at this point.

I’m open to suggestions. I was in Chicago in April and had a nice steak at Michael Jordan’s restaurant. It was very good but I’m all for trying new places. I walked by Don Shulas steak house and that looked good too. I’m going to research a little more and will be happy to share info before October. Hopefully Oni will share some options too.

Still need some veteran LBers with some heft and another Offensive Lineman wouldn't hurt either ...and better hope there is major development in Maiva and Longstreet to be undefeated before ND.....

Agreed. I saw a proposed depth chart that had Gentry starting at LB and no depth behind him. Given his history with injuries, we're in freaking trouble.

The first 5 games might allow Longstreet to play and show his stuff but South Bend is not a great place to play a true Fr.

Hopefully we can add a LB during the spring portal. You are right, not very good depth at all. Entz left us in a bad spot. Chasing R Davis away didn’t make sense to me given the depth.

Man, two really tough games, a few road bumps, but this looks like it could be a playoff season. If we get there, this should help with recruiting and give our freshman QB an opportunity to get up to speed. I know there may be a few of you who prefer to keep Maiva as QB but I'm done. I will accept it if he wins the job but I would be ecstatic if Longstreet wins. Mostly because it will mean we have a better QB than last year.

Not sure if a freshman QB has ever won a National Championship. Not expecting one but if we start strong I will be a believer.

Tebow was situational. That was Chris Leak’s team.

Gator fans love to act like TT was the starter for 2 championships. He wasn’t.

Hollaway took over for an injured Troy Aikman midseason. Wally Pipp thing.

The answer is Trevor Lawrence. The only true freshman starter to win a NC.
