Yep. If I recall, we had a few guys on the OL last year who got an extra year due to Covid so essentially we were playing with 5th and 6th year seniors which helped a lot. There were some things that perhaps could have been done a bit differently this year but the issues on both lines were years in the making. If you look at the teams that beat us in the trenches and do a similar analysis, you're going to find that they either recruited better than we did or had more consistent development over time.

We may have to do what Sark did with his '22 OL haul and play them together as freshmen and let them grow together. On the defensive side, let's hope we can get Durkin and his ties to current A&M commits as well as guys who are looking for a fresh start like Bear. I watched some TAMU/Bama from earlier this year and they were really taking it to the Tide. Very similar to what Texas did to them and I'll take that every time.

watched the Miami Hurrcanes game this weekend and one highlite showed their freshman guard wiping out guys...just burying them ...kid weighed 363 pounds and it wasn't fat...watched him get out ahead of a runner and obliterate a corner..
