Spoke to someone very close

To Oaks Christian DE, Hayden Lowe this morning, close as in parent. Miami cut him a check for $200k in NIL. They were asking for $250k, he did not tell me what USC’s NIL offer was. Riley was at their last game and spoke to Hayden pre and post game and after every play pointed to Riley on the sideline. I think this flip came as a shock to USC. This is a special circumstance with this kid. Good kid, great family but they are considerably older parents and that was a topic with them. Spoke to another parent whose son plays with Hayden and is going to a D1 school, he made it sound like USC had not made a complete NIL offer to Hayden yet. That it was incremental, some cash, a car, endorsement possibilities etc. Miami just said here is cash, cash is king I guess.

I believe the other parent, he confirmed the 200k, his son received NIL money, he had other kids boys abs girls that play or played D1 sports and this guy played Major D1 basketball, playing professionally in Europe. So he knows the dance. He is plenty wealthy he had no reason to lie. He did tell me not to disclose what his son got.
