Good point. One would think that after Harbaugh got them back to top 10 territory, and then Shaw 1.0 continued it for a while, that they'd still want to win. I guess they don't really GAF.
Seems to me Stanford has decided to not to be a serious contender in cfb going forward. The school has a huge endowment already. Football $$$ won’t make them much richer. Then you have the transfer portal. I don’t think the Stanford admin likes anything about it. You honestly think they want to line up donors to pay their athletes (“just happy we accepted you into Stanford”)? And what changes would they have to make for academics with transfers, not to mention players who don’t meet the academic standards.
This guy might end up being a solid HC, but he’s certainly not a big name. Think this hire makes them more attractive to the B1G? Nah, I think Stanford has made the decision to just be happy to be an average Pac12 team. I’d be surprised if they win a conf title in the next 10 years. They might never do it again. Their students/alum won’t care.
Forgot to mention- very interested in what LB David Bailey thinks about this hire. Still not seeing him in the portal.
Buddy Teevin's days have returned. Shame on Stanford for blowing the gift Harbaugh brought to them.

Sounds like a real syph.
