Anyone have a list? Have I got everyone below? Looks to me that USC could use another LB, a DB or two more, and always can use impact DL. Though the HS recruits and these transfers may shore that up a lot.
Jarrett Kingston coming in. Looks like USC has too many tackles. But am sure someone can play guard.
Kyon Barrs is the solid DT from Arizona coming.
DE Jack Sullivan from Purdue
5 star Anthony Lucas decided a bag of ATM money wasn't enough to make him stay in that dumpster fire. DT DE type
So that's 1 on OL, 3 on DL, like I felt they needed. Was it the quality they need? We will see. If they were playing that much of that happy where they were, they would not have left. Or if they were THAT great, they'd be in the NBFL.
And then there is OK State inbound All Big 12 LB Mason Cobb coming in. So if he can play, joins Shane Lee and Marvin Gentry along with the incoming LB kid from Louisiana. Should help matters a lot. Not sure if that's enough or what else they have.
Christian Roland Wallace is the 3rd UA Wildcat coming. DB. CB targeting Blackmon's spot
Dorian Singer is a top WR coming from AZ. With Lemon and Branch coming in as well as the returnees. Williams if he gets his head right. DC's favorite player Brendan Rice who had the bet bowl season of any WR (even though the fake trojan thinks he sucks, more proof he shouldn't pos on USC football), Hudson, Ford, and some promising TE candidates. That's a loaded WR room.
RB Marshawn Lloyd coming from the fake USC o the real one. Good numbers, good size. Should help replace Dye if he can pass block. USC RB room will be stronger with Jon, Lloyd, Brown and the two Texas RB coming.
Oddly CJ Williams is looking at ATM. Some people never learn.
Looks like USC had something in mind when they went light on HS recruiting. Sort of becoming the new Kansa State, using transfer portal as JC like Snyder used to do.
Did USC get two transfers at LB or just the OK State guy? Curious
EDIT, add in a LB from Georgia State? Really? How good could he be? OK, and the Punter from ASU and the OT from Florida. Still too many OT.
is there some limit on how many new guys you can take in a year? When it was hs recruiting I think it was about 28. But last year usc turned over about 15 hs guys and about 20 transfers. This year looks like about 20 hs guys and about 11 transfers and counting. That’s nearly 70 guys in a little over 12 months a let a full roster turnover. Pretty crazy to be competitive with that many people coming and going
So far we have 11 transfers in from the portal. By position along with their portal ranking
RB = #1 from Scar, Marshawn Lloyd
WR = #4, From Zona, Dorian Singer
OT = #10 and #11 (crystal ball), From Florida, Tarquin, from Wazzu, Kingston
Edge = #1 (crystal ball) and #22, ATM Lucas, Purdue, Sullivan
DL = #11, from Zona Barr
LB = #4 and #18, OSU, Cobb, GA State, Muhammad.
CB = #8, from Zona , Roland -Wallace
P = #1 (tied)From ASU , Czaplicki.
Sully (from Purdue) is a DE, not an OLman. the kid from UFla is an Olman. 2 LBers- Okie st and Georgia St…. Don’t forget the punter from ASU
Sullivan plays edge and Kingston played guard for a couple seasons. Tarquin is the other OT. Lloyd has a solid reputation as a pass blocker. The Georgia St kid is a Lber...
