Lol....as likely as Oregon firing Lanning and re-hiring Willie Taggart.
Shough was a Taggart recruit.
Good thing is even if Nix doesn't win the Heisman, going forward Oregon will be seen as a destination for a top QB wanting to spread his wings (pun fully intended).
UW recruited Chiles heavily. Ward is just too erratic. I am not sure UW is looking for a QB in the portal or if they feel good about who is on the roster. Morris is a 'good' QB that knows the system inside and out, can manage the game but is not dynamic. Austin Mack probably isn't ready yet. Mack re-classified and should be finishing up his HS career right now.
What the heck happened to Huard? Sure, we quacks have had our share of 4 & 5 star QB flame outs. But this was totally unexpected.
It's like if Akili Smith Jr. comes to Oregon and then promptly flames out....
For those of you playing at home, Huard was the #3 QB in 2021. Smith is the #5 QB for 2025 (and has verbaled to Oregon). Both from legacy fathers.
When was the last time a college QB's son was better than his father? Thinking of maybe Oliver and Andrew Luck and Patrick and Bo Nix.....any others? There must be more than a few...

He showed me nothing the few times I watched him play...Oregon should be able to do better..
