Wtf is this I am seeing every night?? Nuclear Power Plants? CCP said Steel Mills? Some are saying Steel mills do not have cooling towers. Others are Saying this is coal powered Power Plant?? idk but I know it looks like shit. No wonder they have to steal everyone else’s ideas…..

@San Clemente Agreed......I think that we all should "pick those hills that we are willing to die on". For me.....San Onofre....while splendid in its time....and a great source of energy.....was probably either "Too Early" and/or "Too Late" to win the approval of SoCal politics.

Hopefully, our sophisticated humanity can find something as equally efficient (fusion?)....without the inherent risks (real or otherwise) related to nuclear power.

Quit your bitching.......SCE's San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant has been completely shut down since 2013....and is now being torn down. All the radioactive material has been removed. Southern California Edison said it expects the entire site to be dismantled by 2030 and restored to a natural setting by 2040. NONE of the facility's debris will dumped/remain in the State of California.
