Oregon is the one driving the bus here. UW is concerned about $$$. Oregon is holding out for more, causing some panic to my fellow quacks prior to an emergency meeting between what's left of the p12 this am to ratify the Grant of Rights (Apple's offer expires today). OSU and WSU agreeing to give up some of their take to UO and UW respectively to keep the league alive. Was looking like the p12 would remain as is. Appears to be a money play by Oregon. Also, ESPN just reported that OR has decided to stay in the PAC 9. Apparenty, the partial share wasn't enough to offset travel costs.
ASU and Utes don't want big 12 that's for sure. They could work out a 6 pac w/o uw and UO. Add 4 Mtn west teams. Just as good as big 12.
