USC Football, Plenty of room on the bandwagon now. Three last second losses are not for the weak of heart or mind. It can break you. Mental toughness is required to handle adversity of this type.Riley and I have plenty of that.Tell you what, I feel better about the way we are playing now than last year when we were 6-0. That’s not to minimize the fact that we will grow one year older and not see us win a National Championship again this year. We all only have a finite number of seasons on earth and mine are running down. I like this coaching staff, I like the way we are improving. We have to recruit better in the trenches, that’s the difference so far. On D we can’t get to the QB and we are still not where we should be on the Dline. On O, Oline is playing better, the pregnant man is really improved.
Tony wasn’t killed in that restaurant and he is still making waste management safe from his table at the Bada Bing.
Fight On Chicas!
Your DC is absolutely much better than what you had the last two seasons for sure.
So for that reason alone I agree that USC is in much better shape now. No reason to jump off the bandwagon.
Fans don't get how Fickle Football Fortune can be (the ol' FFF!) No reason for the fans themselves to be fickle as well.
Oregon probably should be 4-2 right now with losses to Boise State (only saving grace were 2 special teams TDs in our 3 point win) and tOSU should have kicked a game-winning FG as time expired on Saturday.
But we aren't. We got lucky (so far!) this season. Just like we got unlucky in our 2 games vs UW last year. It happens. Don't stop believin', SC fans.
(mandb, yes I am waiting patiently for your pithy response....lol!)
