Fumbled Fields: The Worst Stadiums in College Football (moneywise.com)
Pasadena, California
One of the more picturesque stadiums in the country, the Rose Bowl is a somewhat creaky venue that's in need of significant repairs.
Home to the UCLA Bruins, the Rose Bowl opened in 1922 and is a National Historic Landmark.
But in the present day, it's known for its horrible parking, cramped concourses and seats, and aging facilities.
As one Yelp reviewer says, “If you must go [to the Rose Bowl], leave your house at least five to six hours before the concert or game begins. Prepare to be irritated at the sheer incompetence of a city and venue that does as little as possible, and generally doesn't give a rat's patooty once they've got your money."
They disintegrate with one chew, it does not help....shit is shit. Not that the ones at the Coliseum are as good as Costco, for example, but they are gourmet compared to that garbage the brunes put out.
Nice try. The coliseum literally has weeds and crab grass growing out of the cracks in the concrete rows between the seats. The luxury boxes are nice, but the rest of it looks like Gary, Indiana.
I think the Rose Bowl was great when I used to attend games there.Nice sunshine daylight games. Park on the Golf course, BBQ and enjoy the scenery and in those days sat on a bench seat so I had plenty of room. The alternate way out from the golf course never held up traffic that much . From the stadium home after the game to Brea California was fairly quick. Only one time did I not enjoy it and that was when we sat on the sun side in 106 weather...baking just baking...and the lines for water were long...
hot dogs are for shit there too
