F ND...they think to highly of themselves to play in a conference it's beneath them. The only real pressure point is if these super conferences are formed who is to say ND would ever get a BCS game again without belonging to a conference...
I believe Notre Dame is starting to come around to the fact they need to be in a conference in football to be relevant and have a chance to compete for a national championship in football. It’s a matter of time and where they will land. Big 10 exposes them so I look for them to go ACC. If they don’t the ACC might implode. Clemson, Florida State and Miami need Notre Dane in the ACC as a full time member to be relevant. JMHO
While they have their own tv contract they make far less than the Big 10 and SEC schools make for tv rights for football. And while the Domers are arrogant bastards the last 30 years of no NC in football and no New years day bowl wins and mostly being humiliated in said games might just get them into a conference full time in football . The tv contract thing cal always be worked out.
Ore as an Indy? Interesting…. Ore in the MW would be a significant blow to the program,,,, but let’s not forget the direction the Pac was heading. Also, we know for a fact team movement is far from done. Ore to any one of the conferences is still possible.
Maybe the Pac brings in SDSU and a few other MW teams.

Wouldn't adding ND make it a 17-team conference? How would that work?

Then who would be the 20th team?
