Boise State quarterback Hank Bachmeierplans to enter the transfer portal, according to a report Monday by Jordan Kaye of the Idaho Press. Bachmeier was in the middle of his fourth season with the Broncos, having up and down performances through four games. This report came on the heels of the school firing offensive coordinator Tim Plough after a loss to UTEP.
Through four games this season, Bachmeier completed 54.3% of his passes for 497 yards and six touchdowns to three interceptions. In four seasons (29 games) with Boise State, Bachmeier totaled 6,605 yards for 41 touchdowns to 19 interceptions and a 61.5% completion rate.
As a member of the 2019 recruiting class, Bachmeier was a four-star prospect from Murrieta (Calif.) Valley. He was the No. 52 overall prospect in California and the No. 7 pro-style quarterback in the class.
I'm at our El Paso facility again (unfortunately) and one of the AD's family members works here. He was at the game and ate dinner with Dickey. Said that he was pissed and possibly going to make more changes if things don't turn around. If coach A doesn't right the ship next year might be his last. Despite his popularity as a former player.
Yikes…. And Boise State looks nothing like Boise St this year. Wouldn’t it be crazy if Harsin returned? His days are numbered in Auburn.
