Death, Taxes, and Chip Kelly fucking the dog on National Television.
Bruins everywhere are licking their wounds and pretending that the defense is finally good, which it is, as long as you play a HBCU or a team that is down to it's 3rd string QB and the last scholarship RB. All he had to do was call some designed roll-outs, and it owuld have been pretty easy. Instead he lets his bambi legged QB sit in the pocket and step up into sack after sack, like thesquat on a Friday night. Complete abortion of thought be Kelly.
Congrats on beating the mighty ASU, I hope USC had a decontamination tent to spray the players before they got back on the plane.
Someone over on BRO summed up UCLA sports in a nutshell:
Steve Alford (124-63 record)
"Fire the motherfucker!"
Chip Kelly (30-30 record)
"He just needs more time. We're just about to turn the corner!"
Don't forget the Utes put up 24 on Florida and had more yards.
The Hit Squad is #1 in the country in Yards per play allowed. Most teams have played the easiest games on their schedule at this point. UCLA still gets to play Stanford and ASU, teams worse than Coastal, Utah with Johnson, and SDSU.
I'll say it now, this is the best defense the Bruins will have for the next 20 years. Next year, no Latu, no Medrano, and no Smith. Without those 3 guys, Utah scores a few more tds.
The Bruins aren't getting any 4-star guys on defense anymore. Norton is a lousy recruiter.
WSU passes for a minimum of 250 yards a game even against top defenses. Oregon State allowed 420. If the Bruins allow around 300 yards passing on 45 or 50 passes, it's a great game by the defense. That's CFB.
