I wonder when tickets first became available to the fan bases of the competing teams and what the face values of the tickets were at that time. Also, just how many tickets were made available to the fans as opposed to ESPN affiliates and Allstate agents.
I looked around for some info on how tickets were allocated, but not surprisingly, they keep that info close to the vest. At Ohio State a school with 65000 students they allocated 500 tickets. So yeah. Corporate sponsors, I’m sure, got the lions share. That sucks.
