I saw a list of players in the same high school recruiting class. I don't remember all of them but one of them, WR DK Metcalf just finished his 5th season with the Seahawks.
It's quite funny....Cam's first season was under the only Oregon coach to win a playoff game - Mark Helfrich - if that gives you an indication of how long he's been playing college ball. Oregon hasn't even been to the playoffs in 10 years.
He's played for:
Mark Helfrich
Willie Taggart
Mario Cristobal
Dan Lanning
And then with Mario Cristobal again at Miami
Crazy!! Could he also hold the record for having played under the most college head coaches ever? lol
My guess is he likes the young Coeds. He's gonna go wild this fall on Sorority Bid day . Oh , to be a 27 yr old football player with 18 year old Coeds at The U.
NCAA is runin' scared. they are afraid football will split off from the NCAA. The press is starting to ask "why not and "when". This On3 article covers the Ad from Ohio State himting at it
"+ Bjork finished his intro speech talking about the future of college athletics: “We need a model that looks after each individual sport.” He said its important to communicate with their student-athletes and deconstruct the antiquated NCAA structure. There has been enough lobbying, it’s time to act, he said. Ohio State and the Big Ten can lead the way, Bjork said."
+ Bjork was asked if he’s in favor of football breaking away. He said they have to look at it as the highest-resource institutions are different, and he gave a nod to NCAA president Charlie Baker for getting that conversation started. He said they can clean the recruiting and transfer windows up right now where you don’t have to break away football — but they’ve got to get it done.
