Chokes in big moments.

Some guys relish and welcome having the ball with the game on the line. Some guys will lower their pads and force the issue in those situations.

Pace cars need clean air. They look good. They can lead the race and look great as long as they are not behind or challenged. Don't ever put it on a pace car to win a race.

Classic. He's great for 3 quarters and when he doesn't feel pressure. None of us are better under pressure, but some of us completely collapse. And he's one of those.

Agree he didn't play well down the stretch. He wouldn't throw to open guys over the middle and he wouldn't run it.

It is also clear his hamstring isn't the same. He doesn't have that burst anymore. Perhaps he reinjured it. Who knows.

But he's not the issue. It's grinch. I would also add the offensive line wasnt blocking for shit today.

We are stuck with Riley as I don't see the NFL taking him. 3-4 losses in the last 6 games are coming. Williams won't suit up for a crappy bowl so that's a loss, too.

Riley will likely ditch grinch after the season, but next year will still be a disaster. Will the new AD then make a move with the future so bleak? I doubt it.

Let's see how Washington closes out the season. Their coach may be an option in two years. Will be a painful wait as the Riley experiment will need to first crash and burn.

Riley isn't going anywhere and a guy who puts up 40 a game basically every game is very valuable.

The defense issue is real.

Imo next years usc qb is playing football for someone else right now at the d1 college level

Actually Moss will be fine next year. He will force Riley to run a balanced offense and not depend on a star qb to make him look better than he is.

He had this habit last year too. I do think that's part of it but if that's you defenses will have a counter. Esp with USC's inability to run to the outside with speed

CLRs playcalling was also horrible with the game on the line. Just embarassing. As was run game. Needed to see alot more today

this is why he needs to take the running game more seriously. CW deserves blame for his poor decisions and not running enough (he has a pulled hammy imo tho), but Riley is calling the plays.
