was surprised to see ucla not even get a vote. Apparently beating bowling green at home in a comeback and dishing on Alabama State doesn’t carry the weight it used to. Atm gors from 6 to 24 and now gets Miami. Penthouse to outhouse.
Notre dame went from what. 5 to 8 to outside the top 25 . Shockingly 24 idiots actually voted for them.
usc at 7 is fools gold but the longer they can win and milk this the more tickets they’ll sell. People will buy shirts. And recruits will give them serious consideration. So those are positives. But the gap between usc and the top 3 teams out there is vast. This is a team thsts part of a very large second tier. Anywhere between the low and of the top 10 and 20. Good news is they aren’t irrelevant anymore and are being talked about with momentum.
What does Oklahoma have now....that USC doesn't? They beat Kent St. and UTEP at home?
I’m waiting for the USA Today re-ranking. The guy looks at the rankings and fixes all the mistakes. UCLA was #15 last week.
I think USC should be in the top 20. That sounds about right.
with the goal to finish the season in the top 10, with continued help from the turnover gods.
college football is better when SC is ranked. objectively.
sticking with 8 and 4. cause, defense matters. a little. lmao
I don't think these rankings mean bupkis right now. sc
USC could beat # 4 Michigan and #3 Ohio State but could also lose to every team in the top 25 top. i am not sold on Ohio State either but at least we learned one thing this weekend, which is why SEC teams almost never ever travel to play a non conference road game. The have made an art of gaming the system.but they get away with. The one thing that has always bugged me is every other fing year we play ND and UCLA back to back and why play those rotten scum sucking bastards ND in October . we should play them in September. It’s time to drop those bastards anyway
we don’t need them JMHO
So does this mean SC moves up to #4 if they beat Fresno St.? That’s pretty nice just win 2 games and presto #7
