I thought Hardimon played both ways, Guard and D Line on the NC team. Maybe he did play some LB too.

That's cool you played against Mickey, he was a good back in 69. Wasn't he out of Compton or Lynwood?

Coach, Shinnick definitely belongs on the list. The earliest LB I actually remember watching play was Dellocono. I think Lee Knowles was a starter too at the time.

I remember a guy Dorrell got from the Air Force who turned out to be a tackling machine.

Jayon Brown out of Poly was great his last 2 seasons.

I never had the pleasure of watching Mr. Shinnick play. I was just fortunate to have coached with two BRUINS who played with him.

Don Shinnick was a LB in the NFL for 13 years who started for the Colts. He won 3 NFL championships & 1 SB. Pretty sure he also played QB for the BRUINS. I coached with two of his college teammates 40+ years ago. He had almost 40 interceptions and coached in the NFL for over a decade.
