Not only has Lincoln Riley's program suddenly become the projected favorite for Pinnacle (Arizona) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect, but seemingly every recruit has high praise for their visit.
That was certainly the case for Serra (Gardena) four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields, the nation's No. 77 overall prospect and No. 9 cornerback.
"They are definitely a favorite for me after my visit this weekend," he said.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback went on to explain what stood out about his return visit.
"It was a great trip," he said. "I spent a lot of time with the coaches and staff. Most of the trip was focused on what they can provide for me as a school outside of football and how I can benefit from going to USC years down the line. My family came and they enjoyed the visit as well. They loved meeting the staff and building a relationship with them."
Something I’ve noticed about Lincoln Riley should start to benefit usc this year and I think it will.
Lincoln Riley is a tactical strategic recruiter. Riley is not a microwave instant results turn on the charm recruiter
he is very good. Over time. That hurt him in his first two classes at USC. It is starting to help now. The quality of hs recruits he is in on now is a much greater quality and quantity than the first two classes. And no I’m not counting Nelson branch lemon brown. Those guys were already his at ok .
I don't believe it.
Dakoda is black. Dakoda.
Wait til Phil Knight hears about this….
